Electrophysiology EP Unit
Heart rhythm disorders (abnormally slow, irregular or fast heartbeats) affect all ages and range from benign to life-threatening conditions. Our expert team relies on a Comprehensive Care that requires a personalized approach to diagnose and treat these conditions through 3-D mapping devices and other advanced techniques.
It is the vision of the cardiovascular electrophysiology program at Alhyatt Heart and Vascular Center, since we are the only private center to offer such services in the Nile Delta, to achieve excellence in all areas of arrhythmia management and catheter ablation.
The program creates an educational opportunity in the field of cardiac rhythm management as we are the only authorized private center in Alexandria out of five centers in Egypt, four of which are in Cairo, to offer cardiac electrophysiology fellowship training program.
One of the main procedures in this department is an electrophysiology (EP) study which is a test performed to assess your heart’s electrical system or activity and is used to diagnose abnormal heartbeats or arrhythmia.
Alhyatt Center is one of the best places to implement complex ablation procedures, which is the selective destruction of tiny areas of the heart where an abnormal heart rhythm originates. Our electrophysiology program has a multidisciplinary team of experts to guide you through all phases of your care, from diagnosis to recovery.
From day one, our team, including administrators, nurses and doctors, is involved in optimizing the care to the patient and their family. Our team is available to patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.
Alhyatt Center’s EP program is a widely respected program known for innovative therapies and a truly exceptional team.
