Dr.Robert is an expert in minimally invasive surgery of the chest where he performs more than 90% of the procedures using VATS. He specialize in all aspects of thoracic surgery, including, but not limited to:
- Lung resection for benign and malignant diseases
- Malignant and benign pleural diseases
- Mediastinal diseases including nodal biopsies, benign and malignant thymic tumours such as thymomas
- Chest wall and rib reconstruction following trauma and excision for benign and malignant diseases
- Flexible and rigid bronchoscopy, airways biopsy and stenting
- Lung volume reduction surgery
- Mesothelioma surgery
