Dr. Hazem Warda co-founded Alhyatt Cardiovascular Hospital in Alexandria in 2010 where he served as the director of the Cardiac and Vascular Interventional unit. His other appointment as a senior lecturer of Cardiology at the University of Tanta, Egypt has given him the chance to serve in the division of Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology for fourteen years. After receiving his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University, Egypt, he completed a residency and obtained his M.Sc. in Cardiovascular Disease at Tanta University Hospitals. Subsequently, he completed his fellowship training in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), Leiden, the Netherlands where he also fulfilled his PhD degree as a joint collaboration between the LUMC and Tanta University.
Dr. Warda was awarded his MD degree in Cardiovascular medicine from Tanta University in 2006. He later underwent a clinical fellowship in vascular interventions at the Park Hospital/Heart Center, Leipzig, Germany in 2009. He is certified by the Egyptian Medical Syndicate and the Egyptian Cardiac Board of Cardiology and the Egyptian Board of Interventional Cardiology.

Interventional Cardiology, Hybrid Cath Lab, Primary PCI in Acute Myocardial Infarction with adjunctive therapies, therapies that aim to reduce in-stent restenosis, Lower limb interventional revascularization therapies, Cost-effective solutions to improve electronic medical records in small capacity hospitals.
